The Mission of the Catholic Bible Foundation of South Africa is to:

Promote a biblical culture in the Catholic Church, with an ecumenical openness, among the laity (children, youth, adults) including religious and the clergy; through

• Local outreach
• Lectio Divina, Exploring Scripture Together, Basic Bible Seminar, Proclaiming the Word and other appropriate programmes.
• Youth outreach
• Youth Exploring Scripture Together, Children’s programmes, ...
  (Use the Catholic Bible College as a means of capacity building to establish a scripture-based youth ministry.)
• Regional outreach
• Catholic Bible Foundation offices, Scripture Seminars, Catholic Bible College Campus
• National / International outreach
• Publications, Bibles, Tapes, Website, media, …
• Catholic Bible Foundation Personnel development
• Ongoing formation and to become representative of all sectors of South African Society.
