Yiba nathi Nkosi Jesu, usiphelekezele endleleni yethu. Ngesihawu sakho esikhulu vuthisa izinhliziyo zethu, usihlumelelise ithemba khona siyothi simunye nabazalwane bethu, sikubone emiBhalweni eyingcwele nasekuhlephuleni isinkwa. Amen.

E-Vangelini lethu namuhla sithola kunamaqembu amabili : ElikaJesu asendleleni nalo ezodlula eJerikho; elesibili ngumphakathi wasejerikho uZakewu engomunye walo. Amehlo ethu athe njo kulendoda yaseJerikho eqome ukugibela emthini ukuze akwazi ukubona uJesu. Abantu abanandaba nesenzo sakhe ngoba uyindoda eyaziwayo endaweni nakhu phela unguMthelisi. Nanguke uJesu eqhamuka  uzodabula lapha eJerikho, njengoba negama lisho ukuthi wayezodlula.Uma ebona isixuku esikhulu lapho ephakamisa amehlo akhe uzithela endodeni iphansi kwamahlamvu esihlahleni phezulu. U-Jesu njengendoda efuna ukwenza izinto ngokushesha uthi lapho embheka uthi: Shesha wehle ngoba namuhla ngizohlala nawe. Nayo lendoda enguZakewu ayisho ukuthi labantu  ngizodlula kanjani kubo: Kuthiwa wehla ngokushesha wabe esemamukela ngokujabula emzini wakhe.
Akusibo bonke abakuthokozela lokho. Baqala ukukhononda bathi: Bukani lo uhleli  uyadlaendlini yomuntu oyisoni” Phela abathelisi babaziwa njengabantu abayizoni ngoba kuthiwa babengabakhwabanisi bemali njengoba babengabaqoqi bentela.
Kaningi yikho esikwaziyo ngabantu sibe ngempela singenayo injula yeqiniso lonke ngaye. Umbuzo omkhulu ngowokuthi lokho esikushoyo nalokho umuntu asedume ngakho kuyiqiniso ngempela noma yithina esisuke sizembula ingubo ukuze ubuze bethu buvele obala na? Kaningike sikujwayele ukubasho abanye abantu ukuthi sibazi benjani. Ake silalele inkulumo kaZakewu:

“Nkosi ngikhipha ingxenye yombuso wami ngabela abampofu, khona kuyakuthi uma ngabe kukhona engimkhohlisile ngimbuyisele ngokuphidwe kane”.
Isikhathi esikhulu sima ezitobhini singagibele izimoto ezihambayo silokhu njalo sidudula abanye ukuba bagibele kumbe sibavimbe bangagibeli. “Naye lo uyindodana kaAbraham”. Kungazathithi uJesu uthi bhekani lo useyamukele insindiso eza ngokuzisola nokuvuma ukuthi kuze kube manje bekuyimi isela, umqambi manga nomkhohlise. Kodwa kusukela manje ngizelwe kabusha ngoba ngikhohlwa yikho konke okungasemumva sengibheke ukwambulwa kwempilo entsha. Abalungileyo basale bemile bekhomba uZakewu ehamba ngemoto esheshayo eya enkululekweni, okuyinsindiso uJesu asilethela yona uma nje sizivuma izono zethu ngokuzithoba futhi silungisa lapho sone khona.

Masizindle kakhulu ngenkonzo yokuzithoba, okungukubona ubuze bethu bese sikwazi ukukuvuma bese sicela intethelelo. Amen.

Nkulunkulu Baba wena owathi ngeNdiodana yakho ethandekayo uJesu Kristo wasibuyisela ubungcwele esalahlekelwa yikho ngenxa yokona kwethu. Sengathi lomkhosi wabangcwele bakho ungasinika ivuso lokuthi nathi uma siqinisela ekukholweni siyakubalwa naleli viyo elikhulu kangaka. Amen.

Uma iVangeli likaMathewu livula lithi: U-Jesu ebona isixuku esikhulu, wenyukela entabeni esehlezi phansi, wavula umlomo wakhe wabafundisa wathi,  “Banenhlanhla abampofu….” Sizothola ukuthi lapha uJesu ukhuluma ngezilungo zokobuntu phela umuntu wadalelwa ukuba abe sebudlelwaneni nomdali wakhe lokhu sikubona kakhulu encwadini yeziqalo noma uGenesis lapho kuthiwa uJehova wayefika ahambahambe engadini yase Eden evakashele abantu bakhe (Gen.3:8). Lobudlelwane yibo usomusa athi edala isintu wabe ekuhlosile ngendalo yaKhe.

Ngenxa yokonakala komhlaba lobu budlelwane bonakala kephe akaphelanga amandla uNkulunkulu wabe esethumela iNdodana yakhe emhlabeni ukuba izolungisa lomonakalo. Ekufikeni kwakhe ujesu ubona umhlaba ukhungethwe wubudlova, kuyaliwa, abafelokazi bayahlukunyezwa, abangulayo babandlululiwe, abampofu bacindezelwe, nokunye okuningi okwenza abantu bangabi nakho ukuhlalisana. Umake uJesu efika ubonakala engena nalapho kungafanele ngokwesiko ukuba angene khona; wangena ekamelweni waphilisa umkhwekazi kaSimoni wayenomkhuhlane (Mk.1:30 -31), Uthinta ngezandla zakhe umuntu onochoko (Mk.1:40 -45), Uguqula umqondo  ngeSabatha ukuze baqonde lokho okusemqoka ngalo (Mk.2:23 -28). Kanjalo-ke ukuza kukajesu emhlabeni ukuba azovuselela ubudlelwane obase bonakele phakathi kukaNkulunkulu nomuntu naphakathi komuntu nomuntu. Njengalokhu uBaba engithandile kanjalo nani hlalani othandweni lwami (Jn15:9).

Phela ukuba mpofu ngokomoya kusho kona ukuthi uthi unakho konke okuyizidingo zempilo ungabambeleli kuzo futhi ukwazi ukwabelana nabanye, lokho futhi okusho kona ukuthinteka ngosizi lwabanye abantu bese uba nozwelo, ukhale nabakhalayo sishisekele okuhle nokulunga. Uma silapha emhlabeni ziningi izinselelo esibhekana nazo, njengobugebengu, ubusela, amanga, umona, amagqubu, ubunqonqela. Konke lokhu kukhubaza inhlaliswano yomphakathi. Lapho kubusa umona nobugovu, kuzaleka inzondo, ukulwa bese kuphalala igazi uxolo lungabibikho sampela. U-Johane uma ebhala encwadini uthi: “Ngabona isixuku esikhulu kakhulu sabantu ababembethe izingubo ezimhlophe, labuza kimi lathi: ‘obani laba futhi bavelaphi na?’, Ngathi: ‘Uyazi wena Nkosi’. Lathi: ‘laba bavela emhlabeni, ekukhandlekeni okukhulu, kepha bagezile izingubo zabo bazenza zaba mhlophe egazini leMvana” (Isambulo 7:14). Lapha siyaqiniswa ukuthi impilo ingumshikashika. Nakuba izinhlupheko zikhona nokho akusizo okufanele zisisuse endaweni. Okunalokho ukuphila impilo yokobuntu ephelele engenabo ubudlova nobulwane yikho okuyakusenza ukuba sibe ngabantu abapheleleyo njengalokhu noBaba oseZulwini engopheleleyo (Matt. 5:48).

Yikho-ke lokhu okuyakusenza ukuba sithi silapha emhlabeni siphile impilo enobuNkulunkulu abantu babuthokozela ubukhona bukaNkulunkulu phakathi kwabantu bakhe njengoba neculo lisho: “Ngempela usemhlabeni uvela eZulwini uyakuhlanza konke okusenhliziyweni…” Yiyoke indaba yombuso kaNkulunkulu ophakathi kwabantu ofuna ukuba yilowo nalowo aphenduke abuyele ebudlelwaneni obuphilayo nomakhelwane wakhe ngoba singeze sasho ukuthi siyamthanda uNkulunkulu uma singamthandi umakhelwane.

Ngokunjalo sobe siyibo abahlambulukile (1Jn.1:3) abasebudlelwaneni besoxolweni bese sihuba sonke ngokujabula:
Sengibon’ izul’ elisha nomhlaba omusha,
Omdala udlulile nolwandle alusekho.

Nkosi Jesu Kristo wena owathi kubaphostole bakho uxolo ngilushiya kinina, uxolo lwami ngininika lona. Siyacela ukuba ungabheki izono nokwahluleka kwethu kodwa ubheke ukholo lweBandla lakho, uvume ukusipha uxolo nobunye njengoba kuyintando yakho; ukuze sithokoze kanye nawe embusweni wakho ebuphakadeni. Baba, wamupha uJerome beno Paula abacwebileyo ukuba bathande ukufunda imibhalo eyingcwele. Sengathi iZwi lakho lingaba ngumfula wosindiso kanye nomthombo wempilo lowo osithembise wona, ngoJesu Kristo iNkosi yethu. Amen.
Ake ngikumeme ukuba kewuthi ukufunda leliVangeli.

“Kwase kusondela kuye uJakobe noJohane amadodana kaZebedewu bathi kuJesu: Mfundisi siyathanda ukuba usenzele lokhu esikucelayo kuwe. Wathi kubo: Nicelani na? Bathi: Yisho ukuba sihlale omunye ngakwesokunene, nakwesokhohlo sakho embusweni wakho. U-Jesu wathi kubo: Anikwazi enikucelayo. Ningasiphuza yini isitsha engisiphuzayo mina na? Nibhabhadiswe ngombhabhadiso mina engibhabhadiswa ngawo na? Bathi kuye: Yebo singakwenza…”

Sibhekene nenkinga lapha, okungumbango wendawo ephambili embusweni. Phela sizokhumbula ukuthi imibuso yasemhlabeni inababusi kanye nezinsila zabo okuyizo ezihlala zingungu umbusi. U-Jesu ekushumayeleni kwakhe ngombuso kaNkulunkulu, abafundi babekholwa wukuthi kuyakuthi lapho uJesu esethatha ubukhosi njengoba phela beqonda ukuthi nguye ozakusindisa akhulule uIsrayeli kuleli aphinde futhi abuse nakwelizayo. Abangani abayifundaka ukuthi loKristo abamlandelayo ngozothwala ukuhlupheka afe esiphambanweni. Nkosi yisho ukuba sihlale ngakwesokunene sakho. Indaba isekuhlaleni. Izinsizwa zakwabo ungathi ziyakhumbula ukuthi ngenkathi uJesu eguquka esinye isimo entabeni zazikade zingabakhethiweyo ukuba zibone lesi simanga nakuba sekuvuka ukukhetha ngoba phela zazintathu lapho (Mk. 9:2 – 13), nangamhla kuvuswa indodakazi kaJayiru eyabe ifile kwakuyiwo lamadoda amathathu uJesu angena nawo lapho kuzokwenziwa isimangaliso (Mk. 5: 37); kodwa manje zizicelela zona zombili uPetro zimshiya ngaphandle.

Kungenzeka ukuba phela lezi zinsizwa ezimbili, zakubona lokhu njenganelungelo lazo ukuba zizibekisele indawo ephambili lapha nakwelizayo. Nokhokho uJesu ebaphendula uthi: ningabhabhadiswa ngombhabhadiso engizakudlula kuwe, nibuthwale bonke ubunzima mina Nkosi yenu engizakudlula kubo nokho ukuninika umbuso akusikho okwami, kodwa kungokwalabo abakulungiselelwe (Mk.10:40) Phela ikhona inkinga yokuthi ngithi ngifanelekile kanti angizange ngaba ngofanelekile kuNkulunkulu. Ngiyenze yonke imisebenzi emihle efanele ukuba umuntu ayenze nami ngize ngizibone impela ukuthi izulu ngiyalisebenzela kwasho iculo elithi: Izulu liyasetshenzelwa” kanti konke bengikwenzela udumo lwasemhlabeni. Phela umbuso kaNkulunkulu uyisipho uNkulunkulu asiphe sona ngokuthanda nangomusa waKhe, hayi ngokulunga kumbe ngemisebenzi esiyenzile.

Umbuso kaNkulunkulu asiwutholi ngokuzifunela izindawo eziphambili kumbe ngebukhulu bezikhundla esinazo, kodwa ofuna ukuba mkhulu embusweni wezulu kufanele abe yisikhonzi njengalokhu “iNdodana yomuntu ingezelanga ukukhonzwa kodwa ukukhonza nokudela ukuphila kwayo kube ngukuhlengwa kwabaningi” (Mk.10:45). Ivangelike bafowethu liyasikhumbuza ukuthi kubaluleke kangakanani ukuba sibe ngabathobileyo abamnene abantu abazibeke phansi bavumele ukuba ngabakhonzi bengalindele nzuzo okuyikho uJesu azama ukukhanyisela abafundi bakhe ukuthi kubaluleke kangakanani ukuze sibe seduzane noNkulunkulu. Kanti kwayona impilo nje ifuna abantu abathobekileyo abazibeka phansi ukuze umuntu afinyelele empumelelweni.

Sengathi umusa nothando lukaNKulunkulu uSokulunga lungahlala nani njalo nigcwele umusa, ubunene, nokuthobeka, nihlanganyela esithebeni sesidlo esiyingcwele eButhathwini obucwebileyo. Amen.

I-Zwi lakho Nkosi Nkulunkulu wethu liseduze nathi. Nomusa wakho ukithi. Yiba nathi –ke Baba ngobunene namandla. Senze ukuba izindlebe zethu zingavaleki  ukukuzwa lapho ukhuluma nathi, ukuze siyamukele ngezinhliziyo ezivulekile iNdodana yakho uJesu kristo, okunguye oyakuza asifune athi ngokusithola asinike usindiso manje nangezinsuku zonke zokuphila kwethu, kuze kube phakade. Amen.

Leli Vangeli lingelinye elithi alibe lukhunyana ukulisukela nokulihlaziya, nokho kuhle ukuba kesithi  ukuzika kulo ngoba liqukethe lukhulu empilweni yethu. Thatha-ke manje imizuzwana ulifunde uphindelela. Uzothola ukuthi lithi alisibuyisele emumva mhla uNkulunkulu edala umhlaba. “6Kusukela ekuqaleni kokudalwa uNkulunkulu wabenza owesilisa nowesifazane” (Gen.1:27). Phela uNkulunkulu wadala abantu, wabenza ngomfanekiso nenswebu yakhe owesilisa nowesifazane, lapho abona khona ukuthi lokhu ayekwenzile kwabe kukuhle futhi kumthokozisa. Ngalokhu uNkulunkulu wabe efuna ukuba abantu bakuthokozele ukuba ndawonye, bemunye othandweni, behloniphana futhi besebudlelwaneni obulinganayo. Ngaleyo ndlela-ke “7owesilisa uyakushiya uyise nonina anamathele kumkakhe, abasebabili, sebenyamanye”. Lapha-ke uMarkus uyasibonisa ukuthi abashadileyo  bangena ebudlelwaneni okungubunye nokubambisana. Ukujula kwalobu budlelwano yikho okuyakubenza babe munye ekwakheni umndeni oyiwo nophilile. Phela bobabili bathi belingana babe bezinikela komunye nezipho zabo ezahlukahlukene emshadweni wabo.

Muhle bangane abathandekayo uNkulunkulu wethu, ngoba uthande kanjalo ukuba abantu bakhe babe nobudlelwane obujulile naye uSokulunga. Phela wabenza baba ngaphansana kwezingelosi (Hubo 8:6), lokhu sidalwe ngomfanekiso nenswebu yakhe, wasivikela ukuze singabhubhi sifane “neminyezane etshalwe ngasemfuleni ukuze siveze izithelo ngesikhathi esiyiso  (Hubo1:3), kuthi lapho sikhathele sikhathazekile kube nguye osihlumelelisa amandla “uyangiyisa ngasemanzini okuphumula, uqabulisa umphefumulo wami” (hubo 23: 2 – 3).

U-Jesu uyasimema ukuba singene ebudlelwaneni obujulile noYise njengoba yena uqobo enza. Lobu budlelwane yibo okuyakusenza ukuba thina uqobo sikwazi ukuba nobudlelwano obuyibo nomakhelwane wethu.

Umusa kaNkulunkulu uyisipho esivela kuye, oza kithi ngaphandle kokuba siwusebenzele. Kanjalo akukho mizamo yethu eyakuphumelela ngokwenza kumbe ngokuthanda kwethu.  UNkulunkulu nguye osinakekelayo ngokunjalo kufanele  sizibeke emseni wakhe kuhle komtwana ethembele kumzali  ukuthi lokho akuswelayo uyakukwamukela kuye ngaphandle kwendumalo. UJesu wambiza uNkulunkulu ngokuthi “Baba” . Phela wayebuqonda umbuso kaNkulunkulu. Uma sikwamukela ukuthi  uNkulunkulu wenamile ngathi siyakuliqonda kahle ivangeli likaJesu Kristo ayelishumayela futhi siyakungena siphelele ebunyeni bukaNkulunkulu lokho yena uJesu ngokwakhe akuthokozelayo nasifisela kona njengabantwana bakhe. “Deldelani abantwana beze kimi ningabenqabeli ngokuba umbuso kaNkulunkulu ungowabanje”. Wabe esebeka izandla phezu kwabo ngokuba lokho u “Nkulunkulu akuhlanganisile makungahlukaniswa muntu. Bathandwa beNkosi uNkulunkulu wethu akafuni mngcele omahlukanisa nesithandwa sakhe esingumuntu ngokunjalo nakithi akalindele ngcele owahlukanisa abantu bakhe.
Sihlobo sami ubunye bethu buyisibonakaliso sobunye uNkulunkulu anabo nathi zidalwa zakhe. Phela lobubunye bubonakaliswa ngumshado, yindlela thina esiphilisana ngayo. Sengathi lokho uNkulunkulu akuhlanganisile empilweni yethu makungahlukaniswa muntu nanini. Amen. – B

MARKUS 9: 30 – 37

Baba siyabong aukuthi uyasilinda kuze kube yilapho thina ngokwethu sesikulungele ukukwamukela. Sesilungele ukuba iZwi lakho lingene kithi. Siqondise ezwini lakho lapho ukkhuluma kithi, senze sikuzwe ekuthuleni kwakho, lapho usilethela iNdodana yakho uJesu Kristo – iZwi loxolo lwakho. Amen.

Emva kokuba uJesu eguquke esinye isimo phambi kwabafundi bakhe abathathu, manje usese ndleleni kanye nabafundi bakhe ulubhekise e Khaphanawume esuka eSezariya Filiphi. Lapha uJesu unenhloso eyodwa: Ukufundisa abafundi bakhe. Okubuhlungu nokho ukuthi bona kungathi abekho kulomqondo ujesu ayenawo ngabo. Babonakala bona bephikisana  bodwa ngokuthi ngubani ngempela omkhulu phakathi kwabo.
Ake usibone ngamehlo engqondo lesithombe esakhekayo manje. U- Jesu usendleleni uyahamba futhi usethe qekelele kubo, abambadlwana baseduze kwakhe kodwa iningi lisele le, liza kancane. Lapho ingxoxo ishisa ibunzi, kuyaphikiswana ngobukhulu futhi lendaba ayipheli izothi ukudonsa impela.

Yini okungabe iyimbangela yalokhu kuphikisana kwabafundi? Sizokhumbula phela ukuthi ujesu ngenkathi ekhuphukela entabeni eba ngesinye isimo wayethathe uPetrus, noJakobe kanye noJohane. Kungenzekake ukuthi nabo babezibona bebalulekile kanti nalaba ababesele ngemumva base bebacasukela. Ilukhuni indaba yokukholwa ngoba kuphikiswana nje kade uJesu ebatshela ukuthi umelwe ukuhlupheka okuyiyona nto okufanele ibakhathaze. Kepha bona ingxaki isezikhundleni nasekubuseni. Phela kadeni wonke umuntu ufuna indawo ephambili embusweni bese sikhohlwa ukuthi lombuso uJesu azowumisa nesiwuthenjisiwe eZulwini ngowokuzibeka phansi.

“Beniphikisana ngani endleleni”. UJesu ebabuza. Zayima emthumeni ngoba phela ofeleba bayazi ukuthi kuyabangiswana lapha. Lombuso awuphangwa. Uma umuntu efuna ukuba ngomkhulu bekufanele abe yisikhonzi sabanye. Phela imvamisa siyazicabangela thina sizifunela okugcono namuhlake ukuze sithole okungcono kufanele sibe ngabanomnako nabanye, hayi ukuzicabangela. Phela nayo iNkosi yethu ayizelanga ukukhonzwa kepha ukuzoba yisikhonzi sabo bonke. Kungabeke thina siyibo yini abakhonzi?
Kukhona abantu ebaphansi futhi esingabagqizi qakala lapha emphakathini wethu.

Singabalula nje abagula ngekhanda abagcwele emigwaqeni yethu, abangafundile kunathi kumbe abampofu.  Sinawo yini umnako nabo na? Lapho sesihlezi ezindaweni eziphambili uma bengathi bayangena singabamukela noma singabalindisa ngaphandle kwesango sibasongele isinkwa esomile bese sithi sibaphile abampofu isinkwa kanti vele bese sisilahla. “Owamukela omunye walaba abancane akemukeli mina nje kuphela kodwa wamukela lowo ongithumileyo”. Indaba phela unokwamukelana nokuhlalisana.
Sihlobo sami impilo epheleleyo nenokujabula isekuphilisaneni kungekhu ukubanga nokudonsana ngezihluthu. Sengathi ukuthula kuka Jesu Kristo iNkosi yoxolo kungahlala nathi njalo. Amen.

Ngenkathi silalele izifundo sizwe ofundayo ethi: “Yiwo amazwi eNkosi esifundweni” nathi ngokunjalo senanela sathi: “Akabongwe uNkulunkulu”. Umbuzo omkhulu ngukuthi kungabe ngempela siyakholwa yini ukuthi imibhalo  iyiZwi likaNkulunkulu. Kungabe yikho yini lokhu okwenza ukuba sizithole singakukhuthalele ukulifunda nokuba singalenzi libe yingxwnye yempilo yethu ukuze sikhule kwezikamoya.

Ubaba ocwebileyo wodumo uJohanis Pawulusi wesibili esiyala ngo 2002 uthi: “Imibhalo eyiNgcwele iyisisekelo sokuqala sempilo yobuKristo”. Phela sonke ngokusemandleni ethu siyazama ukuphila impilo yethu engcono ngokusemandleni ethu. Sifuna ukuthuthuka kanye nalabo futhi abasondelene nathi, okungabangane bethu kanye nemindeni yethu. Lokhu kulangazelela okuhle yikho okuyakusenza thina kanye nomhlaba esikuwo ube ngothokozelekayo ukuphila kuwo. U-Phapha Johanisi Pawulusi uyasinika indlela yokwenza umhlaba ube yindawo ethokozelekayo, enokuthula, uthi: “U-Jesu Kristo ukhona ngempela eZwini lakhe, emaSakramenteni ikakhulu eMiseni eliyingcwele. Ukuze umuntu ambone futhi amuzwe kufanela azijwayeze ukufunda iZwi likaNkulunkulu okuyiBhayibheli”.

Phela uma sifuna ukumqonda kangcono uJesu, uma sifuna ubudlelwane obujulile naye, uma sifuna ukufunda, sithathe okukaJesu siphile ngakho, noma kanjani akukho lesizokuthola khona ngaphandle kokuba siye eZwini likaNkulunkulu.

Yiloke leliqiniso uMose athi: “Yizwa Izrayeli izimiselo nemithetho engikuyala ngayo namuhla ukuba uyigcine, khona uyakuphila”. Izwi likaNkulunkulu liyaphilisa, liyasindisa, liqinisa ababuthakathaka, lisinika ithemba, liyasikhuthaza, lisivuse ebuthongweni. UMose-ke namuhla esifundweni sokuqala ukhumbuza abantu ukuthi njengoba bebonile imisebenzi yamandla uNkulunkulu ayenzile kubo mabangachezuki endleleni yabo yokukhonza uNkulunkulu. Akwanele-ke bahlobo bami ukulilalela nje kuphela ngoba ungezwa ulalele kahle impela kodwa bese ungakugcini lokho oyalwa ngakhoukuba ukwenze. Kubalulekile ukuba iZwi esilizwile lishunyayelwa kithi siliphile ngani ngoba «yilowo nalowo ozwa amazwi ami awagcine ufana nendoda eyakha indlu yayo edwaleni okuthi ngokuna kwezulu nokuhlasela kweziphepho ingaze yawa ngoba yakhiwe edwaleni» (Mt.7 :24-25)

Kungabe thina siphila ngalo yini iZwi ? Esikhathini esikhulu kumaJuda ukugcina umthetho kaMose kwaba yiyonanto ephambili kubo neyokubayisa kuNkulunkulu. Ekufikeni kukaJesu usesinika indlela entsha yokufinyelela kuNkulunkulu, okungukugcina izwi likaNkulunkulu.Yonke imithetho ifuna inhlalakahle yomuntu. Ngokunjalo futhi umthetho kaNkulunkulu uJesu Kristo awushumayela ngowokuthanda uNkulunkulu kanye nomakhelwane. Umthetho wonke uphelele oThandweni.

Njengoba phela namuhla sigubha isonto lebhayibheli, sigubha iZwi likaNkulunkulu elaba yinyama lase lakha phakathi kwethu. Leli liZwi sadalwa ngalo, sasindiswa ngalo, kanjalo siphila ngalo. Yilo leli liZwi elifundwayo ezinkonzweni sibuye futhi sihlangane nalo eSidlweni esiyingcwele. Yingakho sisho ngeqholo ukuthi uJesu ophila kithi uyisimanga. Ngoba nguye ophila kithi ukuze nosibukayo abone ubuso bukaJesu kithi.
Sengathi singaba yiboke abaphila ngeZwi- abathandayo ukulifunda bazindle bakhuleke ngalo.  « Amazwi akho Nkosi angumoya, ayaphilisa, wena unamaZwi okuphila kwaphakade. Amen.

Baba, wena uyasilinda  kuze kube yileso sikhathi lapho sesivulelekile kuwe. Silomele iZwi lakho okuyilo eliyakusenza sibe ngabalamukelayo. Siqondise lapho ukhuluma, nalapho usekuthuleni kithi, ukuze sifinyelele eNdodaneni yakho uJesu Kristo- oyiZwi loXolo. Amen.

Sonke-ke lesi sikhathi ujesu ubelokhu eziveza kithi njenge:
…. Sinkwa esehle sivela ezulwini.
…. Sinkwa sokuphila.

Namuhlake izinyo ligaya ngomunye umhlathi ngoba manje sesizothola indlela abantu abaphendula ngayo kulomyalezo kaJesu. Uma siqhubeka nokufunda leliVangeli sizobona ukuthi kanti baningi kangakanani abantu ababengazimisele nakancane ukuba ukwamukela imfundiso kaJesu.

Ngiyakholwa ukuthi kwakuyisikhathi esinzima kuJesu lesi, ukuthola ukuthi kanti baningi kangakanani abantu ababephambene naye. Okwakuhamba phambili ngukuthi lemfundiso ilukhuni ayilaleleki. Nangaphezu kwalokho bese bekhetha ukumnyibela bamshiya ngamunye ngamunye bangabe besahamba naye.

Kuhleke ukuba sizibuz thina ukuthi yini lena eyayibadina enkulumweni kaJesu. Sizokhumbula phela ukuthi yonke into uJesu ayeyenza yabe ibhekeke ngeso lokhozi kubantu bonke ikakhulu izinkulumo zakhe kanye nezenzo zakhe. Kukhona ababethokoza ukumlalela kanti futhi iningi labe lingathokozi ngoba welinyathela amakhona. “Amazwi engiwakhuluma kini angumoya, ayaphilisa” (Jn.6:63). Ubengubanike yena angase asinike ukuphila , basala endleleni olibala.

Uma singase sithi ukuthi jeqe evangelini lika Markus, isahluko sokuqala sizokhumbula ukuthi umkhwekazi kaSimoni wathi esephilisiwe nguJesu emkhuhlaneni owawumphethe wavuka lapho wabakhonza ngoba waqonda ukuthi kuJesu kukhona ukuphila okupheleleyo (Mk. 1:31).

UJesu ngiyamthanda-ke manje ngoba uma ebona ukuthi abebemlandela sebemhlamukile phela ngoba bona bebebheke isinkwa esiphelela enyameni kodwa sebethola lenkulumo abangayiqondi ngenxa yobulukhuni bezinhliziyo zabo, usephendukela kulabo abangabafundi bakhe labo abaseduze naye: “konje nani nifuna ukuhamba na?” (Jn6:67). Phela akukho muntu ongasimze azithathele lesi sipho engasinikwanga ngaphezulu.UNkulunkulu nguye phela osilungisayo. Indoda-ke enguPetro ithi: “Nkosi ngasiya kubani na. Ngoba nguwe kuphela onamazwi aphilayo” (Jn6:68 – 69). Phela ziningi izinto ezisiqeda amathemba bese sizibona singafanelekile ukusondelana noNkulunkulu. Kuye kwenzeke ukuthi amaphutha omuntu abe sobala kangangoba wonke umuntu usemazi ubunqunu bakhe futhi usephenduke umzekeliso nesibonelo sokuqwashisa abantwana. Namhla ngicela wazi ukuthi nguJesu osamukela sonke. Abanye baze balibeke ngembaba ukuthi uhlobo oluthize lwabantu indawo yalo isesihogweni.Ngasiya kubani na? Akupho lapho sithola khona usindiso ngaphandle kukaJesu.

Make sithi sisondela esithebeni somusa – eMiseni eliyingcwele kumbeke nalapho wena ungena enkonzweni eyingcwele wena ongenayo iNkozo yesidlo ebandleni lakho usho lamazi kaPetro: Nkosi ngangiya kubani? Nguwe kuphela onamazwi okuphila kwaphakade. Lokhu ukusho ngeqiniso ngoba NGIYAKHOLWA.

Sihlobo sami masisho ngeqiniso ukuthi yebo Nkosi akukho lapho singabalekela khona ngoba kukuwe lapho sithola ukuphila, kukuwe lapha sisindiswa khona. Alikho elinye futhi esingasinda ngalo ngegama lakho Jesu kuguqa phansi konke, kutuse ubukhosi nobungqongqoshe bakho. Amen.

Thukulula ulimi lwethu olugoqongene ukuze lubike izindaba ezinhle zothando nobuhle bakho. Ngempela imfundiso kaJesu ayenza eminyakeni ethi ayibe zinkulungwane ezimbili ezedlule namanje isaziphinda futhi iliqiniso elimsulwa. Kuliqiniso ukuthi empilweni sisaqhubeka nokuhlukumezana, sikhe abanye izici, sibandlululane, sibone abanye bebabi kakhulu thina singcono nokunye okuningi esingakubala. Khona futhi kunjalo sonke siyakholwa wukuthi uma sifa kulomhlaba  siyakuthola impilo entsha eyahlukile kwenye indawo, kodwa nokho asazi ukuthi kuyakuba njani kulelozwe. Ibhayibheli lisitshela ukuthi kukhona ukuphila kwaphakade. Singasho singananazi ukuthi lokhu kuphila kwaphakade kusho futhi imanje. Phela imanje yilo esilaziyo futhi esinalo. U-Jesu emibhalweni uyasifundisa ukuthi kufanele sithethelele manje, singabahluleli abanye manje, sithande manje, sinakekele abampofu manje, samukele izihambi manje.

Sonke sihlobo same siyathanda ukuhlala sithokozile, sinokujabula ngamanye amazwi sikhululekile. Impilo ephelele: “ngize ukuba babe nokuphila okupheleleyo” (Jn.10:10). Ukulangazelela kwethu ukujabula nentokozo akusho ukuba nezidingo zempilo kuphela njengokuba nendlu nemali kumbe ukudla, phela impilo ephelele isho uthando, nenjabulo. Ngokunjalo impilo ephelele uma isho inhlalakahle kusobalake ukuthi lokho kuthinta umakhelwane wami ngoba phela angiphili ngedwa ezweni kodwa ngiphilisana nabanye. Ukuphila kahle-ke kusho ukuhlalisana, okuyilapho kuvela khona ukuthi sibizelwe ukuba sinakekelane – ukwabelana nabanye abantu. Umake silandela imfundiso kaJesu nesibonelo sakhe siyakuphila kahle, siphile impilo ephelele. Siyakuba nokuphila kwaphakade.

Siyabonake ukuthi uNkulunkulu ufuna okungcono kithi njengoba yena engopheleleyo. Phela uNkulunkulu wethu usiphe izipho ngokumangalisayo afuna ukuba sizisebenzise ukuze siphile kahle. U-Jesu Kristo nguye isibonelo esihle. Phela usenzele isibonelo sokuphila impilo ephelele. Imfundiso kanye nezenzo zakhe emphakathini kuyazifakazela. YiZwi eliphilayo. Izwi lakhe liyaphlisa. Ngezwi lakhe sithola ukuphila kwaphakade, lapho silifunda emibhalweni eyingcwele – Isinkwa esiphilayo.
Umbuzo omkhulu wukuthi konje umuntu kungenzeka yini efane noNkulunkulu na? U- Johane emzindlweni wakhe  uyasitshela ukuthi uJesu engumuntu efana nathi ngakho konke ngaphandle kwesono, wafana noNkulunkulu lapha emhlabeni, ngokunjalo nathi singefana noJesu, ukuze kuthi lokho okushiwoyo ngoJesu Kristo uMsindisi wethu kuphinde kushiwo nakithi: “Hambani nani nenze njengoba ngenzile kini” (Jn.13:15). Ngokunjalo-ke lapho sibuka impilo kaJesu siyakumbona uNkulunkulu nathi size sivume ingoba yabaprofethe basendulo sithi:

Ukufunda iVangeli lakho ngomqondo ovulekile kusenza sibone ngale, kuphele nongabazane lokuthi wena Jesu awuzelanga nje kuphela ukusinika impilo entsha, kodwa amandla amasha okuphila nokusebenza emhlabeni. Siyakubonga Baba oCwebileyo ngesipho esiyizwi lakho. Sengathi lingaba ngukukhanya kwezinyawo zethu, likhanyise indlela , ukwenama kwenhliziyo, lisimamise impilo yethu. Amen

Kulamasonto alandelayo amahlanu sizobe sizindla ngevangeli likaJohanisi okuyisahluko sesithupha. Ivangeli-ke namuhla lisilandisa ngendaba yokwandiswa kwezinkwa eziyingcosana kkwasutha inqwba yabantu. Lendaba uzothola ukuthi iphindaphindekile kubavangeli bonke okungacishe kube ivela izikhathi eziyisithupha sebehlanganisiwe abavangeli. Kusobala-ke ukuthi yabe ibaluleke kakhulu uma ivela kaningi kangaka emphakathini wamakholwa ngaleso sikhathi. Ake sithi sifunda, sizindla, sikhuleka  ngalelivangeli sibe sizama ukuthola ukuthi yini lena eyabe ibaluleke kangaka kokhokho bethu okholweni ngalendaba.

Lapha kubalulwa izindawo ezimbili. Okokuqala kuse Galile okuyindawo yamaJuda eyesibili ebalwayo yindawo yabezizwe okuyi Thibheriya. Kusobala-ke ukuthi kunezinhlobo ezimbili zabantu ezilandela uJesu. Yilaba ahamba nabo okusobalake ukuthi iningi labo ngamaJuda bese kuba yilaba abafice ngaphesheya nabo okucacayo ukuthi iningi labo akusiwo amaJuda kodwa ngabezizwe.

UJesu wakhuphukela entabeni. Ukunyukela entabeni kusho ukuba sebukhoneni bukaNkulunkulu – ukungena emkhulekweni. Lomoya womkhuleko uqiniswa ngamazwi athi “wahlala phansi” lapho efundisa. Lapha siyaqapheliswa ukuthi uJesu manje usezokwethula imfundiso ebalulekile kakhulu. Lemiphakathi emibili yabantu ayidlelani, sizokhumbula phela ukuthi amaJuda kanye nalabo abangesiwo amaJuda akudlelwana. Laba bantu babengenako ukuhlala ndawonye, angisayiphathi eyokudla ndawonye. Yayingabhekani. Kusobalake lapha ukuthi okubaluleke kakhulu kulomphakathi ngukubuyisana nokuhlalisana ngokuthula kungekho ukucwasana. Yilowo nalowo bekufanele abonakale esuka ekucabangeni ukuthi ungcono kunomunye, kumbe ungcolile, kumbe akawufanele umbuso kaNkulunkulu.

Yebo ubandlululo selwaphela kudala lapha ezweni lethu, sesiphila ndawonye. Noma kunjalo iqiniso lihle sisaqhubeka nokubandlululana. Emakhaya ethu imindeni yahlukene, imishado iyabhidlika, izinkulumo ezinohlevana lobuhlanga, ukubandlululana ngokwemihlangano esiyingenile, yindlela esivatha ngayo isenza sinikake amagama angemahle, nokunye okuningi esingakubala, konke lokhu kusenza sibe yibandla elahlukene elingadlelani. Ujesu uza ezokondla bonke laba bantu abalambile. Ofanele nongafanelekile ngoba bonke kuye balambile nalowo othi yena akaswele lutho unamanga uyadinga ukwelashwa, ngoba nalokho kungasweli kwakhe kusasho kona ukuzicabangela nokungabi nandaba nomunye umuntu.

Uma evuma ingoma yakhe umufi uFr. Martin khambule ethi: “We, bakhethwa wozanini” uze ufike evesini elithi: Sihlanganiswe sonke ngobuqhawe bakhe, alukh’ ubandlululo kwabangabe Nkosi”. Masisondele esithebeni somusa samukele iNkosi uJesu okunguye osondlayo ngezwi lakhe nangeSidlo esiyingcwele, eMiseni. Amen.

Nkosi, kaningi lapho sifunda imibhalo eyingcwele siyaye sijahe ukuze siqede. Kodwa wena usithumelele iZwi lakho njengoJesu ethuma abalishumi nambili ukuba bahambe bagxilise izwi lakho kubantu, lisondle lisiphilise futhi futhi lisenze sikwazi ukubuyisana noqobo lwethu. Amen.

Lomkhuleko uqukethe umongo nomqondo weVangeli lanamuhla. Masithi sifunda singene sijule eVangelini futhi singalihlafuni luhlaza kanjalo ngoba lokho akuyikusinika injula nokujiya kwalo. Cabanga – nje usuyaleza umuntu omdala ethatha uhambo olude uthi kuye aze angakhohlwa ukugqoka izicathulo.

Akuthi lapho ningena khona benganizwa bengauni ukunilalela nithintithe uthuli lwezinyawo zenu kube ngubufakazi bokulahlwa kwabo.

Base behamba beshumayela kubobonke abantu ukuphenduka. Bakhipha amadimoni amaningi bagcoba abagulayo abaningi ngamafutha babaphilisa.

Amandla okulwa nemimoya emibi: Nkosi Jesu ake usithume nathi njengoba wathuma abafundi bakho, singandiyazi futhi singathuli kodwa sishumayele impenduko. Umhlaba ufukanyelwe ngamadimoni amaningi: ukuthanda ngokweqile ingcebo, umina, ukubandlululana ngokobuhlanga nangokobulili; sisize Nkosi ukuba siwaxoshe. Kunabantu abaningi abagulayo, abasele dengwane, ababandlululekile, kanye nezisulu zodlame. Senze sibagcobe amanxeba ngamafutha othando sibelaphe ngezwi lakho.

Uma sifunda encwadini ka eksodusi 4:2 uNkulunkulu uyambuza uMose ukuthi yini lena ayiphethe esandleni sakhe, yena uphendula ngokuthi “yinduku”. Nathi siyabuzwa ukuthi siphetheni ezandleni zethu. Phela siphethe induku okuyizipho uMvelinqangi asiphe zona, okufanele sizithuthukise  ngokusemandleni ethu ukuze kusizakale abanye ngazo. Isinkwa sifakazela umsebenzi nobuthunywa bukaJesu Kristo. Phela sibizelwe ukudlulisa umbiko hayi umphako esiziphathele wona kodwa umbiko kaJesu unjengoba unjalo.
Esikhathini esiningi sinemigodla esiyithwele ngokungenasidingo. Sibuyisa amanxeba amadala asemzimbeni yethu mhlasimbe asethi ayaphola kodwa siyawavula. Masikhohlwe ngokudala sidlulele phambili  ukuze sibe namandla okwelapha abanye baphile. Yebo umonakalo kungenzeka ukuthi waba mkhulu kakhulu kodwa nokho nalapho selidume kwafiwa khona liyadlula liphinde lise, phela ukushona kwelanga kubika ukusa okuzayo. Masiphenduke sikhohlwe ngokwenzeke izolo kodwa siphokophelele phambili sethule imithwalo esicindezelayo, isidikibalise isiqede namathemba kodwa sibone ukukhanya okusha okuza ngokwamukela iVangeli likaJesu Kristo.

Sesizamile sadlulisa kodwa umbiko wothando wangamukeleka, okuhle kwabuyiselwa ngonya, uthi uJesu “Thintitha uthuli lwezinyawo zakho”: Ungathi ngiyawezwa amazwi kaJesu ethi: Ungalahli ithemba nalapho kungalungi ungadikibali, qhubeka ngoba nginawe njalo koze kube sekupheleni komhlaba. Phela kwayena uJesu akazanga adikibala lapho bengafuni ukumuzwa, bemnyemfisa, bemhleba, bemthuka ekugcineni bambethela onqamlezweni.Phela babethi baqedile ngaye kanti ababuzanga elangeni, phela usehlezi ebukhosini bakhe ebusa ingunaphakade.
